FUND ACCOUNTANT - PRIVATE DEPT

Our client is a fund administration company and is currently looking for a FUND ACCOUNTANT to join their Private DEPT Funds team. They offer a young, dynamic, and international corporate atmosphere as well as the benefit of customized training adapted to your needs throughout your career.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Bookkeep funds, management companies and associated fund structures within the team

  • Assist with all aspects of accounting matters, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad-hoc investor queries

  • Assist with the completion of routine audit queries

  • Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions

  • Maintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of bookkeeping

YOUR PROFILE:
  • You are degree level educated in a relevant area such Finance, Accounting or Economics;

  • You may have some existing relevant experience in the fields of fund administration.

  • You have knowledge of fund industry, valuation, and accounting;

  • A basic knowledge in accounting for investment products, experience of closed ended funds in the real estate private equity or debt space will be considered as an asset;

  • The candidate will be expected to be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills level or ACCA Professional level)

  • Some technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy)

  • Computer literacy skills are essential
