Our client is a fund administration company and is currently looking for a SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT to join their Private Equity Funds team. They offer a young, dynamic, and international corporate atmosphere as well as the benefit of customized training adapted to your needs throughout your career.

The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·        Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary

·        Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad-hoc investor queries

·        Deal with the completion of routine audit queries

·        Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions

YOUR PROFILE:

·        You are degree level educated in a relevant area such Finance, Accounting or Economics; 

·        You have between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of fund administration.

·        You have knowledge of fund industry, valuation, and accounting;

·        A basic knowledge in accounting for investment products, experience of closed ended funds in the real estate private equity or debt space will be considered as an asset;

·        The candidate will be expected to be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills level or ACCA Professional level)

·        Some technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy)

·        Computer literacy skills are essential
